Up for sale are Ansul Nitrogen Cartridges, LT-A-101-30... 6 pieces total. I acquired these at auction at a closed John Deere Dealership. I have no idea the age of these but the boxes have 2-89 on them- unsure if this is the date or something else. Online research claims they are for use in Ansul R102-UL 300 Restaurant Fire Suppression Systems. I would definately recommend having them tested before put in use....hydrostatic testing?? These items were in their unopened boxes when I got them. I only opened the boxes to examine and weigh them. Info on the individual canisters states "replace if weight is 1/2oz less than that stamped on cartridge". I weighed them all and all of them weigh more than the amounts stamped on them. #1 Canister- stamped 95-5/8oz...weighs 96.5 oz #2 Canister- stamped 97-1/2oz...weighs 98 oz #3 Canister- stamped 97-3/8oz...weighs 98.3 oz #4 Canister- stamped 100-5/8oz...weighs 101.4 oz #5 Canister- stamped 95-3/4oz...weighs 96.7 oz #6 Canister- stamped 99-3/4oz...weighs 100.7 oz I do not want to ship these due to HAZMAT regulations (USPS will not handle them- UPS and FedEx might but I would have to take them to their main distribution centers and have no idea what special costs would be associated with this). If anyone has some suggestions and/or are experienced with shipping HAZMAT items, feel free to let me know. These items are located in Upstate, South Carolina. Online these cartridges range in price from $150-$250 each. (I also have 2 smaller canisters...LT-5-R...in their original packaging- they both also weigh more than the stamped amount).
