Antique 1800's Landis No. 1 Harness Stitcher With Orignal Base This antique Landis No. 1 Harness stitcher is in overall good condition. The machine turns freely and the needle is moving up and down as it should smoothly. The pedals turn the wheel on the bottom as well. I did do some emailing about this machine to several vintage sewing companies as was told the machine dated to around the 1880's. I am not an expert in vintage machines and am only saying what I was told. There is one small chip out of the wheel the belt goes on and one down on the lower base which I photoed. I know it needs a shuttle and a belt and it may need something else I just don't know.. I do know this thing weighs a ton and local pickup is recommended. I would consider delivering this machine for a fuel charge if you do not live to far away.. Please feel free to ask questions and thank you for looking......
