Last year I had sold just about all of my Maytag engines off ebay. . I have sold and shipped these motors to the UK and Canada. Up for sale is a very nice Maytag Model 72 Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial # 928637 stamped on it which was in production 1940. I have been restoring these engines for over 12 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont paint. I take a lot of pride in these motors. Lots of people like to take the same pictures as I do and try to confuse the buyer. I don't like the way they do things but I have no control over that. But I put my own trade mark on my engines then I know it is on that I restored proper. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug wire with new ends, new spark plugs. I also honed out the Cylinder jugs. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I did have pictures of tank and top plate after they were seal but could not find them so I put a picture of the last 72 tank so you can see what it will look like. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 2 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. The kick peddle will be unbolted while in shipping so you would have to bolt it back on. The buyer agrees to pay an extra $35.00 packing fee. I use foam spray to pack the motor and it takes a lot when I am done it will float in the ocean and could be dropped down a set of stairs with no damage. It takes around five days to pack the motor so foam spray can set up.Pleas read below the pictures. This washer is not part of this auction. This was the last washer that I restored and sold on ebay several years back. Buyer agrees to pay all Shipping Cost. Payment must be made with in 3days from sale ends. If you do not want to use paypal and want to use other form of payment just contact me. All items sold as is due to the age. I do not use ebay check out. I do not leave a feedback until I see a feedback on myself tired of not getting them for myself You . Thank
