Brown and Sharpe Post Grinder Pickup only!       Great shape but is very old. Last patent date is 1891. I have not been able to track down an image of another live one yet. Thus I don't have much of a clue as to how it worked or what is original or not. This was though used in a shop that had a power shaft going through it that used belts to run all the shop equipment.      Though this is pick up only I may be able to bolt it to a pallet for whoever picks it up. I have very little available time though.      The forward and back movement is very smooth on this when turning the handle that moves the table. The multiple layers of paint had been previously removed carefully so as to not alter the original cast iron. The third picture is with another shaft attached to the grinder base that goes with this. It has a newer piece of plastic and a clamp added to it that is not original. The last two pics are of another bit that I believe also goes with it. As you can see by looking at the photos the one piece has been broken. Both halves are there though so could likely be welded. It looks like a weak spot in the design. I don't believe there are any cracks or broken bits of cast on the main body of the grinder. If you have any concerns or questions feel free to email me.
