Antique Clock Bundy Time Recorder movement by Seth Thomas This is a large and heavy wall clock manufactured by the Bundy Time Recording Co. c1889. The case is solid Oak (very heavy) and quite appealing to the eye.  The bottom of the door is impressed with the name of the company and location, and also “Bundy Time Recording”.  The 9 1/2 ” inch dial is in excellent condition for being well over 110 years old.  The large Seth Thomas movement is double spring wound with I believe a Deadbeat escapement.  Though the movement is in good working condition the movement could stand a good cleaning and servicing.  The plates of this clock are about 1/4 ” thick and the gears are also quite substantial.  The bottom time recording mechanism has been removed and is missing; however the clock keeps good time, and is very impressive to look at.  This clock is being sold as “a time only” clock.  It would make great project clock, or not. The size of the case 51” inches tall, 17 1/2 ” wide and 7 1/2 ” deep This clock if not personally picked up, will require special shipping, because of its size and weight.
