Solid and massive pink Italian art deco, (art nouveau?) marble free-standing horse-shoe bar. Measures about 12' x 12', 42" high, and essentially forms 3 sides of a square. The fourth side backs up to the wall, and would be where you would have a back bar. It is very heavy, very solid, and very impressive! Should be able to fit about 18 people around the bar. Price reduced since I have just sold my house, and consequently the bar must be moved! The bar was removed from an hotel in Atlanta Georgia, and has been in storage for decades. I include 2 photos of it in its original setting. I bought it years ago, with the intention of assembling it and installing it as an outdoor bar, but never needed to. Recently I put it together in my garage so as to get an idea of how big it is, and to make sure it was all there, which it is. And I have to say, it is truly spectacular! The photos really don't capture its size or majesty. I have never seen another one like it, despite years of searching for antique bars. I’ll be glad to answer any questions, and am willing to schedule a meeting to see the bar in person. The bar comes apart for shipping, and is made up of panels, the biggest of which are the top pieces, and the largest of those is about 7' long, and weighs maybe 350lbs. This is a beautiful, extraordinary, unique bar. The marble is pink, with red, ivory and grey veins, as I try to show in the photos. It is, as you might imagine, extremely heavy! The panels are thick- 3/4" or more, and the top is several inches thick. It has been hand-hewn from the living rock. I moved it from Georgia to Illinois in one go, using a 20' U-Haul truck. Several of the side panels have cracked over the years, but have been well repaired. The cracks can not be seen from the outside. I understand that it was originally commissioned in the 1930s. It will add an incomparable touch of true class to any bar, be it residential or commercial. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have questions. The photos are part of the description.
