    Antique Employee Badge: MARION STEAM SHOVEL; Marion OH; Construction Equipment This is a nice 1-1/2" brass employee badge from the MARION STEAM SHOVEL COMPANY. It is numbered 2360 and dates prior to 1946. The company was founded in 1884 as the Marion Steam Shovel Company, It grew in prominence throughout the 20th century and changed its name to Marion Power Shovel Company in 1946 to reflect the industry's change from steam power to diesel power. Was sold to Dresser Industries in 1977 and in 1997 was integrated into its longtime rival Bucyrus International. Buyer adds $2.75 USA shipping. Our policy is Customer Satisfaction.
