Antique French Art Deco Walnut and Glass Shallow Display Cabinet / Box or vitrine - great for Antique dealers, market traders, collectors. The green velvet is original to to case & shows very little wear as it has been used historically to display antique papers / documents. With Art deco geometric detail to the edge of the lid, velvet to the base and inner edge of the lid, brass hinges. Very solid and sturdy with its original, substantial, thick glass glass. Silver looks looks particularly good against the rich green velvet. In good original condition, very clean and ready to use. Just minor signs of age, use and wear, no splits, cracks or damage to the wood or glass. Hinged lid solid & without any problems. The velvet is intact with no tears or stains just minor evidence of use. The backing card covering the wooden base shows marks due to age but remains in place & secure. Please see photos.
