OUTSTANDING STREAMLINE, ART DECO STYLE (COMMERCIAL MACHINE AGE STYLE since they were only sold to retail, commercial businesses). IN EXCELLENT SHAPE approximately 85+ YEARS OLD. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE OLD PIECES THAT YOU JUST LOOK AT WITH AMAZEMENT, HEAVY QUALITY MADE BACK IN THE DAY. HEAVY DUTY TO ENDURE THE RIGORS OF ROLLING DOWN THE SIDEWALKS THROUGH THE GARMENT DISTRICT IN NY. TAKE A LOOK AT THE WHEELS. HEAVY DUTY WITH ATTRACTIVE, ART DECO CHROME WHEEL COVERS. AWESOME! I THINK THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS RACK IS ALL THE HALLMARKS OF THIS BEING USED FOR MANY YEARS IN THE GARMENT INDUSTRY....THERE IS STILL THREAD STUCK IN THE WHEELS FROM WHEN IT WAS RUN THROUGH THE GARMENT FACTORIES. THE TOP AND BOTTOM BARS REFLECT RANDOM SCRATCHING WHICH, ATTESTS TO YEARS OF USE... SUCH AS... HOOKING METAL HANGERS AT THE TOP & HORIZONTAL SCRATCHES ON THE BOTTOM RAIL FROM USE OVER THE YEARS. SUPER PATINA AND SHINES UP BEAUTIFULY DISPITE THIS. THIS IS JUST THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A GREAT OLD GARMENT CLOTHES RACK FROM THE 1920's OR 1930's.
