Here's an antique, steel, industrial storage bin up for bids without reserve. It was once used to hold some sort of parts or hardware and was designed to be stacked on top of others and so others could be stacked on to it. One end has a handle riveted on and the other end is sort of an opening chute that juts out a bit, where you reach in to retrieve whatever is strored inside. Bins like this one make wonderful decor for those who like to repurpose industrial artifacts as well as those who like primitive looking items. They can be useful and still decorative when used to hold mail, documents, craft supplies, collections, writing paper, and just about anything else that fits. This one was made by A-S-E Co. of Aurora, Illinois and it measures 14 1/2" long, 8 3/4" wide, and 6" high. It has a primitive, aged look with minor surface rust with original old black paint and is incredibly well-built. It's solid, strong, and sturdy; it's heavier than it looks, weighing nearly 8 pounds. The rust could be removed but we think it really adds charm and character to the piece. It sells to the highest bidder!
Seller Notes Solid, strong, rugged, and straight! Minor surface rust, old black paint, great looking!
