THIS IS A LARGE ANTIQUE SET OF SIGN AND PRICE MARKERS MADE BY EXCELSIOR AND ALSO MADE IN USA.  IT INCLUDES THE ALPHABET, NUMBERS, PER, ONLY, REDUCED TO, FOR AND MANY OTHER PRICE SIGNS.  THERE ARE TWO WOODEN OPEN STAMP PADS AND A CARTER'S STAMP PAD.  ALL WOULD NEED RE-INKING AS THE YEARS HAVE DRIED THEM OUT.  THE BOX & TRAY ARE VERY DIRTY AND THE STAMPS THEMSELVES ALL NEED BRUSH CLEANING AND I WOULD USE A FACE MASK BECAUSE THEY LOOK MOLDY TO ME. THERE LOOKS TO BE ABOUT 84 STAMPS.  THE CARTER TIN STAMP PAD HAS RUST ON THE BACK.  THE WEIGHT IS ALMOST 4 POUNDS UNWRAPPED. THE BOX ITSELF IS STILL INTACT, NICE AND TIGHT BUT LOADED WITH STAINS.  WHETHER THEY WOULD COME UP WITH A CLEANING IS QUESTIONABLE.  THE HINGES AND THE HASP CLOSURE ARE RUSTY.  THE WHOLE PACKAGE NEEDS A CLEANING BUT IN THE END I THINK THAT THIS IS A GREAT SET AND STILL VERY USEABLE. IF I HAD THE TIME I WOULD CLEAN MYSELF AND I MOST ENJOY SOME OLD ITEM, DIRTY AND THEN CLEAN IT UP GIVES ME A GOOD FEELING OF ACCOMPLISHMENT AND SATISFACTION THAT I HAVE SAVED A RELIC.
