Antique Printing Press-- Multi Model 1227: Ser# 303940-- Built in 1940-- This is one of the earliest electric powered presses--It still runs and feeds paper.  All the cylinders and rollers turn.  The compressor works and will feed paper--I am sure it would print with very little work--Some of the belts are broke but we have replaced them with "make do" rope.   This could be a beautiful restoration project.--Selling as a Front Lobby or museum piece  Someone would love to have this press and I do not have the room to continue to keep it Make me a serious offer!!!!    I will consider delivery within a reasonable delivery location. Buyer pays freight  Dear atozprintingequipment, a little more history on this press Davidson built the feeder AM did not build feeders nor did Davidson build print heads for some reason they parted ways and Davidson built the 221 model printing press and AM built the 1250 Multilith I have seen one of these run very intreasting machine.  It is rare you have one did not figure very many left in existiance   hello On the Multi with Davidson feeder it looks like the delivery board where the paper comes out has been replaced on your machine. I have the exact press, it was my dads. I have only seen 4 in my life counting yours and the one I have. One of them was rebuilt and painted by a press mechanic, but it was missing the original glass water bottle.  Nice old press. thanks bill
