I sell antiques and collectibles and I prefer to sell to serious buyers. Ebay is trying to encourage new buyers by making returns easier, but Vintage items are often delicate and difficult to ship, and should not be purchased by someone who has the mindset, "If I don't like it after I get it I can just return it." Often I am selling items for very little over what I pay for it, the last thing I want to do is pay one-way shipping charges on an item, and then unpack and examine and then repack and re-list my item. I am also faced with the possibility that my returner will not pack well and the item will come back broken or damaged. I have always taken returns for "not as described," but not "I decided I didn't want it" returns from people who should not have purchased my item in the first place. If you are not truly serious about my items, please do not bid!!! All items must be returned insured!!!! DESCRIPTION: The bubble level on this frame was made by Stanley and is patented 1896. I cannot find a name on the Trial Frame, it may be hidden under the tarnish. Seems to be in working order, but I know nothing about these things! It looks as if it mounted to some sort of stand. Dirty from years and years in a basement. Check out my other auctions. I will be listing additional items found with this piece. An Opticians cabinet-desk twill also be for sale. As to Condition: Please check photos carefully. I do the best that I can on my condition descriptions and use many photos. Please ask questions before the auction is ended. Shipping is normally by USPS, although there are exceptions where it is less money to use UPS. All items are shipped insured.
