The front of the meter case bears an inscription "Standard Instrument, do not use." The meter comes with a range of features such as positive and negative poles, zero and clamp adjustments, and a meter range of short, 200, 20, 2, and -2. It was exclusively used as a reference meter for the city reference system. Secure packing materials and handling will incur an additional $5.00 fee. This antique Rawson Milliampmeter, complete with a beautiful walnut case, has a historical association with the City of New Haven. The Rawson Electrical Instrument Company, based in Cambridge, Mass, manufactured this unit. Add this precious piece of New Haven's history to your collection.
