Used restored antique 1941 Model 72D twin gas, 2-stroke, throttling governor engine removed from a Maytag washing machine. This restored running engine is in excellent mechanical condition for a 80 year old engine. This model comes with kick starter, cast iron tank with tapped bottom mounts, Eisemann magneto, wooden sled mounts, muffler, coupler and new ignition coil, stickers, spark plugs and gas pickup tube.  The engine has excellent balanced compression, strong spark, super clean tank interior, starts first kick and runs outstanding and smooth.  Complete restoration makes this motor a great addition to any engine collection or DIY project. These are 2-stroke engines that require a gas/oil mixture of 16 to 1 and I’ve pictured the oil I use from Walmart. I’ve got a short video of it running upon request. Previous owners description: Fully restored & painted, nice, and has new ignition coil Manufacture date: January 1941 Crank shaft condition: excellent threads Compression: 55 psi and 60 psi Magneto Coil resistance: 6.5K ohms New parts: ignition coil, stickers, spark plugs and gas pickup tube Restored: complete Good luck!
