 5" Nominal size Star Brass Mfg. Co Steam Gauge.  0-30 psi range.  Cast Iron case with Brass rim.  Serial # 133744.  Tested good 23 years ago, and has been on shelf ever since.  Accuracy is near factory specifications with about +/- .6 psi variance on rise and fall.  Did not test for or record smoothness of movement or do a span check. No cracks in case or rim.  No leaks.  Rim fits snug and tight against glass 360 degrees.  Some of original factory patina is still visible on rim in photos 6 through  9 and others, on both front and back sides of rim.  Lower 1/4" MPT connection.  Patent date:  July 4, 1893.  Usage is apparently on a Steam heating boiler.
