Here's an old Briggs & Stratton model R-2 gasoline motor operating manual. It measures about 5 1/2" x 7" and has 36 pages of info that starts out with " This gasoline motor is your faithful friend". I don't see a date, however the cover is very Art Deco. It has tears, stains, paper loss, the middle page has come loose from the rusty staple. It's been written in and on. This little manual has a bunch of info written in a very diffent style than what's presented now a days.  Please enlarge the pictures below for the best description.
