Antique Industrial Rolling Garment Rack with Art Nouveau/Deco Embellished Caster Feet fashioned of Solid Cast Iron ~ rare, highly sought after item ~ ~ dates from the late 1920s - the 1930s ~ ~ distressed & weathered industrial relic ~ ~ good antique/vintage condition ~ ~ caster feet comprised of cast iron ~ ~ thick, high quality metal (possibly nickel) tubing ~ ~ original luster is still bright and full ~ ~ perfect unique addition to your vintage-inspired home, office, or shop ~ ~ A very cool and rare item that is not often seen at auction. Don't let this pass you by. Thanks for browsing and please ask pertinent questions prior to auction close . ~ Additional Information Garment rack is roughly 45" tall and just over 50" in length. It comes apart and breaks down to 6 pieces, and will be in it's be broken down when shipped to the auction winner. This tremendously reduces shipping costs. Reassembly is relatively simple and straight forward and some handwritten instructions will be included. An adjustable wrench and flat-head screwdriver will be needed to complete the task. Total package weight will be around 50lbs, and longest package dimension will be around 4'. Shipping is calculated listed as a flat rate, however if you have an alternative means for shipping, which doesn not entail any additional effort on my part, including paying out-of-pocket and waiting for reimbursement, then I'll gladly entertain such ideas. The winner/buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs.

“This stunning garment rack is in good antique/vintage condition. It is solid and well designed. All four casters still operate as intended. The elaborate caster feet appear to be completely comprised of cast iron. The are heavy, and the 2 - 3 layers of old paint has weathered in areas revealing the bare metal which has a very nice patina. The tubing which makes up the rest of the rack has some copper-ish discoloration but is limited to the top hanger bar which likely resulted after years of metal hanger hooks traveling across it. The tubing is a high-luster heavy, but relatively soft metal indicating that is might possibly be solid nickel. Some dings do exist, and a few indentations are evident, however NO bends, breaks, or dents are apparent. Lastly, one the simple metal disk-shaped end caps is missing. It is a very easily fabricated embellishment which does not affect the functionality of the rack, and aesthetically is barely noticeable. Please see photos for more detail.”
