This antique dress form stands at an adjustable 61" tall and only ships to the lower 48 US states (no PO boxes). This vintage Steampunk mannequin is a truly unique decoration that adds character to any space. If you're feeling adventurous, you can restore it as a fun project. This antique/vintage HALL-BORCHERT dress form boasts a steel strap skirt and exudes a Steampunk aesthetic. The Hall-Borchert Dress Form Company first patented this piece in 1904, with this specific item estimated to have been made between 1906-1909. This type of dress form was designed and patented by Sarah J Secord, hailing from Graceville, MN. Despite its age, this antique dress form is in fair condition. Its metal parts may display surface oxidation, but the steel strap skirt and rivets remain intact, albeit with a few bends. Though the fabric has faded over time and has moderate stains and tears, the cast iron base features raised letter names such as New York, Chicago, Hall-Borchert, and Dress Form Company. The dress form also features a trio of wooden base wheels, three of which are still intact, while one is broken.
