This is an antique W.E.C. Co. Mil-Am-Meter made of brass with chrome in working condition. It came from the stock of a recently closed radio, CB, ham and electronic repair shop. It is about 5-1/2" wide, 6-1/2" tall, 3" deep and weighs over 3 pounds. It has 3 ranges of 0-10 mA and both x10 and x100 settings for 0-100 mA and 0-1000 mA (1A). it is in very good condition with normal wear for its age. The meter glass is clear with no cracks, the brass and chrome have some minor pitting that may be able to be buffed out. I tested the unit using a HP 6920B Meter calibrator. The meter moves smoothly and is reasonably accurate across it's range. I also tested the x10 and x100 ranges and got the same good results. There originally was a brass shorting pin used to set the two additional ranges but that was missing when I got the meter. I just manually shorted across with a piece of wire for my testing. This would look great on display for a steam punk or industrial decor or for testing and monitoring low level circuits. My partner and I have recently acquired the stock of a recently closed radio, CB, ham, electronic repair shop that included CB, shortwave/amateur receivers and transmitters, vintage radios, vintage and newer electronic test equipment and electronics parts.
