Up for auction is a wonderful piece of history to add to your collection! In the restoration of this Willcox Gibbs the machine has been completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. Motor and Pedal have been restored to match. It was primered and received a two stage paint application using highest quality Deep Hot Pink acrylic enamel, new decals were applied and has 3 layers of clear coat for protection. All chrome parts were polished on a high speed buffer using jeweler's rouge. Sewing deck plate was polished to a beautiful mirror shine. All threads were cleaned by re-tapping and shaft barrels were line bored to insure smooth aliment. The machine was reassembled, timed and lubricated. It has been tested as shown in the picture of the stitching. Machine is attached to a custom made Mahogany stand with feet. Serial #A531208 For finding the age of the machine the two formulas were used. The results is between 1904 to 1907 and then was averaged to get an approx. age of 1905.5 years.
