AO American Optical 100 101 Reichert Microscope Polarizing Filter Set Polarizing Filter Set For AO American Optical And Reichert Microscopes with same design. Custom made this assembly is designed to fit a late American Optical series one hundred plus and Reichert microscopes. Composed from two polarizing units, one a rotary pol unit placed above the illuminator and a second part dedicated to be placed under the microscope head. Please look at the attached pictures they represent the way and the place polarizing filters are mounted. Materials, mainly aluminum except the bottom mounting ring made from acrylic (to avoid scratching  the existing upper illuminator part.)   Please check the picture showing the configuration of the area under the microscope head where the small polarizing filter is located. If, under your microscope head is some other configuration please send us an email, maybe we can help.   Very important, please,  before bidding check your microscope - the upper part of the under stage illuminator must be approx. 41.6mm and the available diameter under the microscope head must be approx. 24+ mm. The set will not fit other configurations.   The microscope shown in the attached  pictures is not included.
