The SMT1000I from APC is an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that offers a Smart-UPS with a 1000VA LCD and 230V output. The device features an intuitive LCD interface that displays accurate and clear information in multiple languages, making it easy to configure the UPS with navigation keys. This UPS also comes with a predictive replace battery date feature that dynamically provides the recommended month and year for battery replacement, to aid in long-term maintenance planning. The SMT1000I comes with high online efficiency, reducing utility costs and generating less heat. It also comes with a SmartSlot, cable of customizing UPS capabilities with management cards. The Green mode is a patent-pending operating mode that bypasses unused electrical components in good power conditions to attain high operating efficiency without any protection sacrifice. The energy meter function provides the actual kilowatt hours used, enabling energy-conscious users to keep track of usage. The APC Smart-UPS SMT1000I generates a pure sine wave output when on battery, simulating utility power, resulting in a high degree of compatibility for active PFC (power factor corrected) servers and sensitive electronics. Additionally, the device comes with a single switched outlet group for discrete reboot of hung devices, sequenced on/off, and non-critical load shedding.
