The detector is based on photodiode array technology in order to permit the user to monitor a chromatographic eluent at many different wavelengths simultaneously. This technology also permits the 1000S to perform and store on-the-fly spectral scans on the entire contents of the fIowcell anytime during a chromatographic run for confirmation of peak purity and identification.Suitable for educational purposes by the integrated display. Technical specifications: 220-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz. Wavelength range: 190-555 nm in two ranges: 190-370 nm and 370-555 nm, user selectable. Wavelength accuracy: ±1 nanometers. Bandwidth: 5,10,15,20,25,50 or 180 nm via diode bunching, user selectable. Sensitivity: .001 to 2.0 Absorbance Units Full Scale. Optics: Dual beam, two 38 element diode arrays.
