These patented alkaline hydrolysis tissue digestion systems range from 37kg to 340kg tissue capacities and are fully automated with a Universal Multiloop Controller (UMC) control system. Designed for laboratories and institutions, these digestors are ideal for research centers, universities, medical schools, humane societies, and hospitals. They are movable frame-mounted units with steam heated and fully jacketed vessels for optimum performance and safety. With a built-in cooling system and diskette recording of cycle parameters, this WR2 tissue digester with its optional size variations is an essential tool for the disposal of animal carcasses and biologic waste. Waste Reduction, Inc is offering the Applied Instruments WR2 Tissue Digester, also known as the WR2 Alkaline Hydrolysis Tissue Digestion System. Ideal for treatment and disposal of animal tissues and anatomic waste generated in biomedical and pharmaceutical research, this system comes with touch-screen controls, a hydraulic lid lifter, and a 100psi chamber. Made in the United States, this model has power requirements of 360V, 3-phase, and 20A with a vessel maximum allowable working pressure of 100PSI at 350 degrees F.
