No Refunds or returns what you see in the pictures is what you get Mate® Thermal Greases Thermal greases are liquid systems composed of fillers dispersed in a resin.  The fillers may be metallic or ceramic and are chosen to provide the desired thermal, viscoelastic, and electrical properties.  The resin system is commonly a non-reactive polysiloxane but organic resins are used as well for silicone sensitive applications.  Arlon offers both silicone and non-silicone thermal greases under the Mate® brand.   Thermal greases are used to mate two surfaces and produce an interface with low thermal resistance so heat is readily transferred from one component to the other.  Thermal greases accomplish this by displacing air at the interface and filling voids on the substrates surfaces.  Performance is largely driven by the thermal greases ability to conduct heat, wet-out the surface, and form a thin bond line.   Mate® 5000NS is a premium thermal grease composed of non-silicone resin and a mixture of metallic and non-metallic fillers to deliver excellent thermal performance (5.0 W/m-K) with low bleed and low evaporation at elevated temperatures.  Mate® 5001NS is the same premium thermal grease as Mate® 5000NS except it contains a small addition of mineral spirits to reduce viscosity.  This is particularly beneficial for depositing onto heat sinks by screen printing processes where sufficient time exists between deposition of the thermal grease onto the heat sink and mating with the CPU or GPU for the solvent to evaporate.
