 This lot of 32 Armstrong Stainless Steel ceiling mounted suspension system has many different uses.  Typically they are used for suspending panels (wood, glass, metal etc) from the ceiling as an architectural element for a space- to give the appearance of the material floating in mid air. The ease of use and beautiful design make these fasteners/hangers a true work of art. With aircraft cable, minor adjustments in elevation are made very easy with these hangers.  They were removed from an Investment firms world headquarters when the space was expanded.  They retail for $80 a piece from Armstrong retailers.  total value of the lot if bought from directly from an Armstrong dealer is $2,560.   Buy it now for 1/10th the price!
