Artisan 29-273BB Sewing Machine. Just purchased a new Cobra 4 and now I am selling this great machine. I only used it to sew light leather and it works perfectly. Has all of the features of the old singer 29k series but much more heavy duty. This machine is tight and the motor runs smooth and strong. Always well oiled and very clean. This is for the professional and is similar to the Cobra 29-18 which is available for $2350.00 plus shipping on their website. Thank you for looking and good luck! Just so you know I will not sell for less than $1400.00 so don't bother asking. I do not need to sell and would like to recovery some of my investment. This is not a 100 year old Singer. Information from the website: The Artisan 29-273 is known as a Long Arm Cylinder Bed, Universal Feed Patching machine. This model has a large bobbin and the cylinder is 18" in length. All the features of the long arm machine are similar to the short arm except for the length of the cylinder and that the bobbin in this model is larger and holds more thread. Sews up to 1/4" leather with a 9/16" high presser foot lift. TheArtisan 29-273 BB series machines have a long needle bar stroke. The Artisan 29-273 the extra large balance wheel can be mounted either on the end of the main shaft or on the front of the machine. Sewing area up to approximately 18". Cylinder width 1 5/32". Available with the Artisan EP Pedestal Motor Drive Unit and SR-2 Speed Controller. Other Sub Classes are Available. Recommended Needle: Schmetz 135 x 16 #14 to #24 Standard #22.
