Being sold AS-IS. I'm not able to do any real testing of this unit, so I am selling it as is (I did power it on and do what I could, see the details below). I buy items from an e-waste center for their value. Most of the items I buy from the recycling center are just for re-selling. If you are looking at this particular PXI module, then you probably know a lot more about this unit than I do. Each time I compose a listing on eBay, the listing is specific to the item I am selling. So, everything I know about the item will be detailed in the listing. The photos in the listing are of the actual PXI controller you are bidding on. If I'm not clear on something, feel free to send a question my way. I also work a full-time job, so my response may be delayed. THE ITEM: This is an AS-IS pre-configured PXI Chassis with several cards and an embeded controller installed. You are only receiving the assembled PXI chassis and the installed components on the Chassis (controller and cards). You will NOT be receiving the keyboards, mouse, monitor, or power cable seen in the listing (those were only used for testing). I've actually had this PXI for around 6 months, and never got around to powering it on and listing it. From what I can recall, the e-waste manager told me that this was scrapped by a company that was downsizing their test lab. This was not part of their test equipment, they sold these, and refurbished these. The same company scrapped a lot of good pieces of hardware, and a lot of bad pieces of hardware. They had to move a large test lab to a small test lab. So there is a strong possibility that something is wrong somewhere. Even with that said, I still saw the value in the PXI when I bought it. There is a lot of value in this assembled PXI for whoever knows what they are doing. The PXI includes installed items listed below (see photos to verify part numbers. I'm a typo kind of guy) PXI Chassis Model PXI-1002 (Serial V04X410AF, Part Number 745749-01) NI PXI-8175 Embedded controller NI PXI-6713 Analog Output NI PXI-6527 Digital I/O NI PXI-6031E Multifunction I/O TESTING: This is being sold AS-IS. I did not open the PXI unit up to inspect any of the inner parts. I don't have any proper means of testing this PXI, and I don't know how. The PXI boots to a screen titeled "Serial Devices Installed" I cycled the power off and on around two to three times during my testing for various reasons, and did not see any issues during power cycling. The PXI responds to a USB keyboard. I was able to access the BIOS and navigate the BIOS normally with a USB keyboard. The PXI responds to a PS2 keyboard. I was able to access the BIOS and navigate the BIOS normally with a PS2 keyboard. None of the installed cards or embedded controller were tested. I do not have the knowledge or equipment to test those items. After POST checks, the system screen reads "Transferring control to user program", then loads the IP address, then shows "Serial Devices Installed", and last you see a cursor blinking on the screen. This all happens on the same page. That page does not respond to any of my keyboard inputs. I've run another of these controllers with this same software installed in the past, and this is what I saw in the that similar controller. I've ran about four PXI controllers total in the past. Two had a LabView software installed, and two had the the same screen as this one. My results were the same on both. I don't know how go past these screens. The system is likely waiting for input from another source. I left the PXI on for 30-45 minutes while I prepared this add. Everything seemed as normal as it could be. The PXI fan stayed on at the same speed, the and the "Serial" screen stayed on with its blinking cursor. RETURNS: Sorry, no returns will be accepted because this is being sold AS-IS. I am starting the no reserve bidding at only $90 (plus $60 for shipping). I don't like to sell junk, and am hoping you have great luck with this, but since I can't fully test this, I am selling AS-IS. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: International shipping will be handled by eBay's Global Shipping Program. I will not be handling any of the international shipping. If you're country is not listed, then eBay will not ship it to your country. Please be aware that eBay will charge you (the international buyer); import and shipping fees based on the final price. Please consider these and do your homework when placing your international bid. These fees can really really add up.
