Being sold AS-IS. This unit never game me any video signal, so I am not able to give much details. Even if it would have output a video signal, I wold not have been able to do any real testing of this unit, so I am selling it as is. I did power it on, and left for over 30 minutes while I wrote this listing. I was hoping that it would give me something during that time, but nothing happened. It stayed on, and the fan stayed on at its usual rate, but I never got any signal to my external monitor. I buy items from an e-waste center for their value. Most of the items I buy from the recycling center are just for re-selling. If you are looking at this particular PXI module, then you probably know a lot more about this unit than I do. Each time I compose a listing on eBay, the listing is specific to the item I am selling. So, everything I know about the item will be detailed in the listing. The photos in the listing are of the actual PXI controller you are bidding on. If I'm not clear on something, feel free to send a question my way. I also work a full-time job, so my response may be delayed. THE ITEM: This is an AS-IS pre-configured PXI Chassis with several cards and an embeded controller installed. You are only receiving the assembled PXI chassis and the installed components on the Chassis (controller and cards). You will NOT be receiving the keyboards, mouse, monitor, or power cable seen in the listing (those were only used for testing, but nothing ever happened during my testing). I've had this PXI for around 3 months, and never got around to powering it on and listing it. From what I can recall, the e-waste manager told me that this was scrapped by a company that was downsizing their test lab. This was not part of their test equipment, they sold these, and refurbished these. The same company scrapped a lot of good pieces of hardware, and a lot of bad pieces of hardware. They had to move a large test lab to a small test lab. Something is definitely wrong with this PXI. It never gave me a video signal, and all of the installed cards had loose outer mounting hardware (you can see it in the photos). Someone must have put it back after troubleshooting, but never bothered to lock the cards in place. I still saw the value in the PXI when I bought it. There is a lot of value in this assembled PXI for whoever knows what they are doing. The PXI includes installed items listed below (see photos to verify part numbers. I'm a typo kind of guy) PXI Chassis Model PXI-1031 (Serial 12731D7), Part Number 196848B-01) NI PXI-8175 Embedded controller NI PXI-6713 Analog Output NI PXI-6527 Digital I/O NI PXI-6031E Multifunction I/O TESTING: This is being sold AS-IS. This unit never game me any video signal. I did not open the PXI unit up to inspect any of the inner parts. I don't have any proper means of testing this PXI, and I don't know how. The PXI does not give me any video signal. I cycled the power off and on several times to see if I could get a signal, but never got one. I just left it on while I wrote the listing. Nothing out of the ordinary happened while I had it on. It stayed on, and the fan stayed on at its usual rate (no changes). When I turn on the PXI, a green "PWR OK" light turns on, and stays on. When you turn on the PXI, I get one flash from the lights on the keyboard that I hooked up to the PXI, but the light goes off right away, and never comes back. This was the same with a PS2 keyboard, and a USB keyboard. None of the installed cards or embedded controller were tested. I do not have the knowledge or equipment to test those items. I left the PXI on for around 30 minutes while I prepared this add. Everything seemed as normal as it could be. The PXI fan stayed on at the same speed, and the "PWR OK" light stayed on. I've had this PXI for around 3 months, and never got around to powering it on and listing it. RETURNS: Sorry, no returns will be accepted because this is being sold AS-IS. I am starting the no reserve bidding at only $0.99 (99 cents plus $60 for shipping). I don't like to sell junk, and am hoping you have great luck with this, but since I can't fully test this, I am selling AS-IS. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: International shipping will be handled by eBay's Global Shipping Program. I will not be handling any of the international shipping. If you're country is not listed, then eBay will not ship it to your country. Please be aware that eBay will charge you (the international buyer); import and shipping fees based on the final price. Please consider these and do your homework when placing your international bid. These fees can really really add up.
