I am listing six vintage large machinist tools for one price and one shipment.  All  have some staining and hidden rust on the original factory metal surfaces' dark patina finish.  Each tool is complete and working...free of defects except as specifically noted.  These are from a collection in the tool box of a master machinist's estate.  Up for auction: Two Outside Caliper.  One caliper is 9-1/8" long from top of the spring to leg tip.  The adjustment screw threads and nut are in very good condition.  When fully opened the leg tips can spread to 8-3/8".  Both legs are flat in shape.  One leg is marked "The L.S. Starrett Co., Athol, Mass U.S.A."  A user has ascribed his initial "G" on the other leg. The second caliper is 9-1/4" long from top of the spring to leg tip.  The adjustment screw threads and nut are in very good condition.  When fully opened the leg tips can spread to 8".  Both legs are flat in shape.  One leg is marked "CRAFTSMAN" Four Yankee Spring Style Dividers One leg is 9-3/4" long from top of the finger spindle to leg tip.  Both legs are flat in shape.  The adjustment screw threads, sliding collar and nut are in very good condition. When fully opened the leg tips can spread 8-1/4".  It is marked "The L.S. Starrett Co., Athol, Mass U.S.A." on one leg.  The divider has been cleaned of light surface rust and shows stain patterns. The second divider is 7-3/4" from top of the finger spindle to leg tip.  Both legs are flat in shape. The adjusting nut has a quick release feature, that allows it to slide down the threads and relock with the capture washer.  The adjustment screw threads, sliding locking washer and split nut are in very good condition. When fully opened the leg tips can spread 6-3/4".     The divider leg is marked "The L.S. Starrett Co., Athol, Mass,U.S.A., Made In U.S.A.". The third divider is 7-3/4" from top of the finger spindle to leg tip.  Both legs are flat in shape, but made of heavy, thick steel with a brighter surface patina.  The adjusting nut has a quick release feature, that allows it to slide down the threads and relock with the capture washer. The adjustment screw threads, sliding locking washer and split nut are in very good condition. When fully opened the leg tips can spread 6-1/2".    The divider leg is marked "The STARRETT, Athol, Mass, U.S.A.". Goodell-Pratt Co.  Greenfield, Mass U.S.A. trademark is very faint and takes a sharp eye to detect it.   The divider is 7-3/4" from top of the finger spindle to leg tip.  Both legs are flat in shape. The adjustment screw threads, sliding washer and nut are in very good condition. When fully opened the leg tips can spread 6-3/8".     Review the pictures, make your own assessment of condition and if you need them for your machinist toolbox, then bid to win.   Remember:  you must be a bidder to be the buyer!
