SaniLight® Germicidal Ultraviolet Fixtures should be utilized during periods when the area is unoccupied or when occupants take appropriate protective measures. WARNING: Germicidal ultraviolet rays are harmful to the eyes and skin. Avoid exposure to direct or reflected germicidal ultraviolet rays. Description: SaniLight® Stainless Steel fixtures produce direct germicidal ultraviolet radiation for use in an open, unoccupied space to disinfect areas from micro-organisms such as bacteria, mold, virus, and fungi. Applications - Include, but are not limited to: Laboratories; clinics; burn centers; schools; food industry; clean rooms; cosmetic production; and, operating rooms. Stainless Steel Construction - The unit is manufactured in Type 304 stainless steel for unparalleled strength, durability, and an attractive finish. STER-L-RAY® Cold Cathode Germicidal Lamps - Lamp is instant starting, utilizing large cylindrical cathodes instead of tungsten filaments. Cold Cathode lamps are recommended for applications where temperature is colder than standard room temperature, for example, walk-in refrigerators and holding rooms. Surelite™ Ballast - State-of-the-art electronic ballasts specifically developed for the operation of ultraviolet lamps. Versatile, instant start ballasts provide higher lamp output; are smaller, lighter, more efficient and operate cooler than magnetic ballasts.
