DESCRIPTION: This is a perfect development board for those who want to learn embedded systems and component level electronics. No need to worry about an operating system on top of your code. The chip is completely blank and will not run a single line of code unless you want it to. The chip will do exactly what you tell it to do… nothing more and nothing less. This development board is completely open-source. The full design schematic will be supplied for reference. This board is designed specifically for assembly language development. There are only 131 instructions native to this Atmel family of AVR microcontrollers. Most real-time systems are developed in assembly due to its speed and the ability to have full control of the hardware. Learning to program in the native assembly language of the chip will make a better embedded engineer. NOTE: This is not a programmer, must be purchased separately.
