Offered for auction are these 4 old carpenter's instruction books copyrighted 1923, 1939.  This copy was reprinted in 1942. Inside the front cover in pencil is written the previous owner's name and a date of 1950.  The front covers are embossed with the title.  The spines have gold lettering.  The page edges are red but show some water spotting.  For books of this age they are in pretty good condition.  I didn't find any missing pages, but I didn't thumb through every page either.  There are lots of diagrams an illustrations.  I'm sure many of these methods are no longer in use, but some building techniques never change.  These 4 little books would be a great Father's Day gift for the handyman in your life.  Or how about a gift for that student architect.  The books measure 7" x 5" x 6".  I will ship them media mail, but boxed for added protection.
