The Austron Model 2010B Disciplined Frequency Standard consists of an Austron Model 1150 High Stability Crystal Oscillator and third-order servo loop control circuit. The servo loop control is arranged so that an external precision frequency standard may furnish the reference for controlling the phase and frequency of the internal Model 1150 Oscillator.  Under this control, the model 2010B provides outputs at 1 and 5 MHz that are closely locked to the phase and frequency of the reference.   Because the third-order control, the servo learns the frequency offset and aging rate of the internal oscillator so that, should the reference be temporarily unavailable, the phase and frequency of the Model 2010B outputs will continue in close agreement with the extrapolated reference.
