Authentic Vintage Gauge Panel for a Heat Exchanger/Regulator - Steampunk Available today is an Authentic Vintage Gauge Panel for a Heat Exchanger/Regulator - Steampunk. This item is the real deal and was actually used on a Heat Exchanger/Regulator! To check it's authenticity all you have to do is turn it over and check the back panel - the copper tubing that was formerly attached to each of the three (3) brass steam shut-off vents have been crimped and cut off, still attached to the back panel with the original clamps. This item consists of a very heavy square ceramic plate with beveled edges that features a 3/8" in diameter holes (one in each corner) designed for mounting purposes. Attached to the front panel of this metal plate is a gauge that has a range of 0 to 30 and measures 4 3/4" in diameter. Written on the face of this gauge is "The Powers Regulator Co"/Chicago - New York"/"Moto Meter Gauge & Equipment Corp."/"L.I. City N.Y." (This gauge also has a circular emblem with an indian head with a feathered headdress on it). Centered below this gauge is a metal plaque that reads: "The Powers System of Heat Regulation"/"Manfactured by The Powers Regulator Co"/"Chicago - Kansas City - New York". Beneath this plaque you will find a set of three (3) brass steam shut-off vents, with handles. Each vent is labeled as follows: #1) "Vent Damper - Open/Closed", #2) Return Air Damper - Closed/Open", #3) "Fresh Air Damper - Closed/Open". Along the top of the face panel is a set of eight (8) screws, spaced out evenly across the top, that attaches the copper tubing to the unit (as I mentioned in the first paragraph). Each of the three (3) steam shut-off vents have a round, circular extension attached to the back of this unit where the lines have been crimped and cut off. The overall outer dimensions of this Authentic Vintage Gauge Panel for a Heat Exchanger/Regulator - Steampunk is 16" tall x 18" wide x 2 1/4" deep and it weighs approximately 20.5 pounds.
