These transfers can be applied using a household iron or a professional press. They are best suited for cotton fabrics and work well on polyester and lycra/spandex. You can apply this transfer over light or dark color fabrics. (note that these graphics are printed over a white background, when applied over dark garnments, the white background will show as an outline, see pics) Application Instructions: 1 - Pre-wash and dry your garment 2 - Pre-heat your iron to the cotton setting. Be sure the steam is OFF. 3 - Iron your garnment to remove any wrinkles. 4 - Each transfer has two parts, peel away the frosted protective backing layer and discard. This should reveal a smooth white surface that contains the special heat activated adheisive. 5 - Place the transfer on the shirt exactly were you want it. (once you apply heat, you will not be able to reposition the transfer). 6 - The clear plastic sheet that contains the transfer image is heat resistant. However, we recommend that you cover the transfer with a thin and clean cloth in order to protect the shirt from exessive heat. 7 - Using FIRM pressure, apply the iron over the transfer and hold for 10-15 seconds. LIFT the iron and repeat until the entire transfer area is covered specially the edges of the entire image. DO NOT move the iron back and forth like you normally would when ironing, this will cause the image to move during application. 8 - Remove the cloth and peel away the clear film SLOWLY and diagonally while the transfer is still hot. 9 - Allow the transfer to completely cool down before folding the garment. 10 - DO NOT wash the garment right away, best to wait at least 48 hours after application before washing. 11 - Wash normally with like colors, do not use bleach and do not Dry Clean.
