From a state surplus sale, an Automatic Products "Studio 3 Chill" snack vending machine. 120 volt. It has 45 vending spots: four rows of 5 each, two rows of 10 each, and five spots for gum. It is a termperature controlled model and uses R134a refrigerant. I'm not a vending machine professional, but I used the instructions available online to test it, and all the spots do work. Spots 73 and 74 (both are gum spots) do have issues. 73 is a bit jerky as it goes through it's motions, but does complete it. Spot 74 gets hung up as it tries to go back down. I suspect they need cleaned, but the motors do work. The refrigeration works, the light works, and the Mars 2000 bill acceptor also works. There is NO CHANGE ACCEPTOR included. There's also no lock core, just the T-handle. The machine itself has a somewhat faded finish. I suspect the face was exposed to the sun, as the plastic cover over the display is tarnished in a fashion consistent with long UV exposure. The flap for the bin also has a couple areas where the finish is gone (probably from use), showing rusted exposed metal, but the rest of the cabinet is pretty good, so I'm sure it wasn't standing out exposed. It's also pretty dusty inside as well. I suspect it was under an overhang or possibly just inside the entrance of a machine building, protected from rain, but with the front exposed to a fair amount of sun in the summer when they may have kept the large bay doors open on sunny days. All that said, aside from those two gum spots, it's a good working machine. It works with bills as it sits, but if you want to accept or give change, you'll need to get a change mechanism for it. Feel free to ask for a freight quote, but I'll need a zip code, I'll need to know if it is a business, and I need to know if there is a forklift or loading dock.
