Overall Function of the FD-3000 1. To operate, feed EPS foam into the shredder portion of the FD-3000. 2. The shredder (rotating blades) will break the foam in to small pieces allowing the foam to fall into the auger chamber. 3. The auger will carry the shred foam into the compaction chamber. 4. Once the material is in the compaction chamber, the hydraulic ram will compact the shred EPS foam removing the air. 5. The compacted foam will come out of the compaction chamber chute. Once the compacted log reaches your desired length, slide the swing arm back and forth breaking the log for easy stacking. The swing arm is the length of most standard pallets for easy loading.
