It's great for slicing vegetables and processed meat, making it great for small delis, coffee shops, sub shops, and small restaurants. It's easy to use, with a cut thickness that's adjustable from 1/16" to 1/2". This Avantco 9" slicer is constructed of top quality aluminum for durability and ease of cleaning, and features a built-in sharpening assembly. The meat carriage is also removable for easy cleanup. It also has a fixed ring guard for safety. As much as we would like to, we are not setup to do warranty service anywhere else but Gainesville. Our machines are sold as-is in fully working condition at the point of shipping. The machine you order will be reinspected before it leaves our warehouse. We encourage customers to come by and inspect the machines themselves before purchase. We can turn the machines on and show you how to use, clean, and troubleshoot problems. If you are unable to physically inspect the machines yourself, I recommend that you hire a local Gainesville refrigeration company (cost $60-$120 for peace of mind) to come by and inspect the machines.
