Avesta Polarit Stainless Steel MIG Welding Wire 0.035" ER308SI/308LSI 10Lb ROLL - New in Sealed Package Description  ER308Si is a silicon enhanced MIG wire which significantly increases wetting action, resulting in a smooth weld to improve weldability and performance on 304 steels. ER308LSi is a continuous, solid, corrosion-resistant, chromium-nickel wire for welding austenitic chromium-nickel alloys of the 18 Cr- 8% Ni type. The alloy has a low carbon content, making it particularly recommended where there is a risk of intergranular corrosion.  Typical Applications For joining 304 or 304L and other common "18-8" austenitic stainless steel grades ASTM A743, A744 Types CF-8 & CF-3 Welding Positions All Shielding Gas Mixed Shielding Gas
