B & K MODEL 606 "DYNA-JET" TUBE TESTER-GOOD WORKING CONDITION. B & K MODEL 606 DYNA-JET EMISSION TUBE TESTER. GOOD WORKING CONDITION. Up for bids is a B & K model 606 "Dyna-Jet" grid emission tube tester in good working condition. The outer case and interior panel are about as clean and in as good a condition as possible! All switches and controls function properly. The B & K 606 does not test older 4, 5 or 6 pin tubes but does test most, if not all, popular audio tubes (octal, 7 pin, 9 pin, compactrons, etc.). To reference the accuracy of this tube tester, I tested several tubes 6L6, 12AX7, 6SQ7) on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/U and compared their readings on the B & K 606. Results were similar as expected. The highest meter reading I got however was a little over 90%. This is perfectly acceptable when testing to see whether a tube is simply good or bad, which is what the B & K 606 is designed for. While the tube tester is in good working condition and can spot a bad or good tube quickly, the winning bidder may wish to get it calibrated/serviced, allowing it to obtain the most accurate test readings possible. Not much work is usually needed to get this type of B & K tube tester up to speed. Usually a good cleaning, replacing caps and running calibration procedures will take care of most issues. All original paperwork including the original instruction manual and both tube data charts are included. Dimensions of the B & K 606 Tube Tester are: 11 1/8" x 8 3/4" x 4 1/2".
