BABCOCK & WILCOX WATERTUBE BOILER Correction: We have the boiler stored in Salt Lake City, UT, not Columbus, OH Sorry for any confusion. NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a Babcock & Wilcox 28,000 pph Steam Boiler. It is rated at 250psi and has a Coen natural gas burner. The blower fan is 15hp. This was purchased from Lever Brothers for use in a plant of a Fortune 500 company in Salt Lake City, UT. They poured a slab for the boiler and installed an awning over it, then plans changed and it wasn't put back in service - never re-installed. It is in excellent condition, and was laid up dry with desiccant in both the mud and steam drums (see photos - wood bins with desiccant). We have moved it off location to a storage facility. It will require a lowboy trailer to move it, and we will load it with a crane at no extra charge. We can also move it to a nearby railroad siding for transport, at a minimal extra charge.
