Bacharach 24-7059-4 Portable Calibration Kit For sale- a Bacharach Portable Calibration Kit Model 24-7059-4. Included in the plastic carrying case is a cylinder of Bacharach Carbon Monoxide Calibration Gas (24-092). The cylinder has the plastic protective cap on it so I thought it might be new, but I took the time to mount the regulator and it shows about 500PSI, full it should register 1000PSI I think. But with the regulator installed I couldn’t get it to stop hissing out CO no matter how hard I tightened down on it. I guess it’s possible that is the way it is supposed to be or possibly operator error but I don’t think so. The pressure coming out was such that I could cork it with a fingertip, but still, I have to assume that the model 03-4318 regulator is going to need to be repaired or replaced. I don’t know if that is a cost effective solution, but worst case you are getting a half full cylinder of the 04-2492 Bacharach Calibration Gas, Carbon Monoxide 500PPM. As those are $300+ new I guess the Buy It Now price is fair even if you end up throwing away everything else. As I am selling this for parts or repair no returns will be accepted on this one.
