Backpack forest fire extinguisher (FULL EQUIPMENT) The backpack forest fire extinguisher (BFE) is used to contain and fight wildfire. RP-18 description The fire extinguisher has an 18 litre water-proof rubber-coated soft tank enclosed in a bag made of blended material. The tank has a rubber hose with an attached hand pump. The RP-18 backpack has strengthened back support with a polyurethane foam gasket to prevent firefighter back overcooling. The BFE has a wide and soft shoulder harness as well as chest and waist straps with clasps for even distribution of the load weight over the back and prevention of sideward shifts of the tank. RP-18 is supplied complete with wetting agent pellets (each of them meant for three portions of water).
