These babies are killer because they have the same exact guts as the bigger models. This is the 6Inch SUPER -V- Backpacker, and is all new for 2015., and is killer diller for those remote areas, or for anyone who wants to pack in light. They are made from heavy duty 18 gauge aircraft aluminum. The width is 6 Inches ...the sides are 3 inches, and the length is 38 -40 inches opened, and only 26 Inches when closed...with the flare being 8-10 Inches wide. These backpackers are designed to find just as much gold as the bigger models made by Colorado Gold Sticks. This unit has many new features including..water fins to direct the water toward the middle as well as a water ramp, and also the SUPER -V- Ripples so no Gold can Escape. Please notice the shrivvle tray under the water ramp...we are now using /4 inch as well as the shrivvle matting...this dislodges the gold as the rocks roll over it. It then hits 4- SUPER -V- ripples, and goes over 1/4 inch punch plate. Under all those metals is miners carpet to catch any and all fine Gold. No Gold can escape out the sides, and no swoop ripples here. They do not work for Colorado because our Gold is soo light. So we designed what is called SUPER V-Ripples. They work terrific for very light GOLD, we have increased our take of fine Gold by 1 & 1/2 grams using this setup per day. Notice that where the sluice folds so you can put it in a backpack...there is a water lift ramp...this lift ramp will not allow fine Gold to escape with any water where the crease is.
