I have a 1980’s vintage CNC milling machine that was giving me trouble. The manufacturer of the electronics was out of business, so I thought my servo amplifiers might not be working properly. I sent one to QIE- Quality Industrial Electronics in Greensboro, NC to have it rebuilt. When it came back the problem was not resolved. I kept using the machine working around its quirks until it finally became too difficult. This year I pulled all the original electronics out and replaced them with a Centroid controller. It works great now. I do, however, have the Baldor servo drives that are perfectly fine and hard to get. If you need one, here is your chance.
