This listing is for Used half Ball lens designed for Fedorov Universal Stage. The lens is intermediate refractive index Nd=1.555 crown glass plano-convex with a spherical surface. It is intended as an upper substrate lens for Zeiss West Fedorov stage. The lens is used but fully functional, with minimal signs of wear. Please check the high resolution pictures to estimate the physical condition of lens. The lens can be used together with refractive index matching fluid (tri-o-cresyl phosphate (Eastman Kodak Co.), and suites for Zeiss West long distance objectives (UD). The small curvature radius allows it to use with high resolution objectives up to 40x (UD40x).
