THE STEMER SHOUD REST ON THE RIM WITH AS LITTLE HANGING OVER THE EDGE AS POSSIBLE. DON'T PUT YOUR STEAMER DIRECTLY OVER A FLAME OR IN THE OVEN. DON'T LET THE WATER BOIL OUT OF THE POT. KEEP AN EYE OPEN, AND ADD HOT WATER IF NECESSARY. DON'T OVER COOK. (YOU'LL BE SURPRISED AT HOW FAST STEAM WORKS!) DO HAVE THE WATER BOILING BEFORE PLACING FRESH FOODS IN THE BASKET. LEFTOVERS, BAKERY GOODS, AND FROZEN FOODS, HOWEVER, MAY BE PLACED OF HOT ESCAPING STEAM WHEN YOU OPEN THE LID.
