This banding is made of 316 stainless steel, also known as marine-grade stainless steel, which is resistant to rust, pitting, chloride, and corrosion. Holes in the strapping enable it to be secured with a bolt or another fastener (sold separately). The 3/100" thickness is thin enough to allow the strapping to be bent snugly around the load or object. The strapping measures 82-1/2 ft. long, 0.49" wide, and 3/100" thick and weighs 3 lb. Each fastening hole measures 3/16 inch in diameter.
